Study on Relational Contract Based Supply Chain Partnership Modeling and Its Self-Enforceability

摘要

This paper established a theoretical model of relational contract based supply chain partnership and drew out the conditions for the self-enforceability of supply chain partnership. It also analyzed the impacts of asset specificity on the self-enforceability. The findings suggested that supply chain partnership is most suitable for the situation with moderate degree of asset specificity. The higher the degree of asset specificity is, the greater the return from cooperation is required to assure the self-enforceability.
