摘要

Sound transmission loss (TL) characters of a porous rubber square plate with thin solid rubber coating is studied. The objectives of this study are to examine the barrier effect while varying structural parameters and material properties of porous rubber plate, as well as TL performance within low to high frequency range. A porous rubber plate, size 500 mm×500 mm×30mm with pinned boundary condition along all edges and excited by a diffused acoustic field, is analyzed using hybrid FE-SEA method. The impacts of various material properties such as young's modulus and rubber density, as well as structural dimensions such as porosity, viscous characteristic length and thermal characteristic length to TL in 80Hz-8k Hz frequency range is examined, respectively. The numerical results in this paper might provide some useful reference to designing the structure and material of thin noise control treatment material.
