摘要

The method of nanosecond laser ablation (ns LA) in organic liquids is developed to produce small-size (a few nm) Si nanoparticles which exhibit photoluminescence (PL) in the visible-near IR region. The method consists in LA followed by post-treatment consisting in ultrasound treatment in presence of HF resulting in disintegration of initially big polycrystalline Si nanoparticles to small monocrystalline Si quantum dots. The presence of carbon on the surface is also detected by XPS method.
