Research on Local Government Function in Business Attraction and Investment Promotion for Chinese Strategic Emerging Industry

The business attraction and investment around strategic emerging industry is the key move to accelerate industrial restructuring and upgrading, promote the transformation of the pattern of economic development, is the important support to enhance the overall strength of the place and foster new economic growth point to maintain sound and fast economic development. Investment is essentially a market behavior. However, because China is in the transformation process, with an immature relationship among government, market and society, then it is an urgent topic to research what kind of role the Chinese government should play in business attraction and investment of strategic emerging industries. This article is mainly about business attraction and overseas investment promotion based on strategic emerging industries, and gives the conclusion that the function of local government in business attraction and overseas investment promotion should be shifted from direct guide to indirect guide.
