To emphasize and improve the brand of University can not be avoided in the university development. With the different researching methods, such as literature study, comparison, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, and so on, the article described that branding has a great significance for university development, and analyzed the factors that affect the university branding in detail. More than that, the article puts forward strategies for the core competitiveness in University's brand shaping mainly from three aspects. Such as, positioning accurately is the premise for building the core competitive of brand, shaping and innovation of brand is the basis for building the core competitive of brand, and brand management is the strong guarantees for brand in the process of maintaining and developing a core competitive of brands.
