Research of Multi-media and Network Teaching Methods into the English Teaching in Higher Academic Institutes

With the rapid development of computer multi-media and network technology,the conventional higher education teaching modes have not granted the need of education in higher educational institutes,and are steering to the direction of teaching strategy by multi-media and network instructions,which is a tendency that appears prominent in an aspect of English teaching carried out in higher educational institutes.The merits and advantages of multi-media and network teaching is easy and clear to define,but the simultaneous-appearing shortcomings and disadvantages deeply exerts great influences on the quality of English teaching task in the higher education institutes.Thus,the all-round start to engage in the research about the new-type innovative mode is bound to be born.The formation and establishment of English teaching in higher education institutes have only existed for dozens of years and still,a couple of years are the application of multimedia and network teaching,thus,the future task and duty is heavy.
