摘要

According to observation of seismic disaster,many structures damaged during main shocks will get more serious damage and even collapse in following strong after-shocks.However,there are only few researches on strong aftershock.Determining amplitude,spectrum and duration of strong aftershock was studied firstly by statistical rule.And then,the generation method of artificial ground motion was put forward.Using the results mentioned above,the structural response of RC beam Bridges under main shock and strong after-shock were studied and compared with aspects of deformation,hysteretic energy dissipation and damage indexes.The results show that the influences of strong after-shock on seismic research and analysis can't be neglected.
