Research and Application of DMC algorithm in distillation system based on DCS

摘要

Distillation process is a complex process of heat and mass transfer, in which work process, the temperature of the tower bottom column that has a large pure time-delay and large inertia time constant which is difficult to control. This paper first introduces the characteristics of the DMC algorithm; Next it proposes the DMC algorithm based on DCS control system by analyzing the characteristic of the tower bottom temperature changes, and designs the implementation scheme; Finally proves superiority of the DMC control through comparing simulation results of the PID and DMC.
