On discrete state, Hu's seven moment invariants are not satisfied with scale invariant. In order to make it meet the translation, rotation and scaling invariance, the original invariant moments has been improved to get six new moment invariants. Through simulating several common shapes of shaft orbits, the standard feature vector is established. The improved algorithm is used to calculate the moment invariants of the shaft orbits to be identified, the Euclidean distance is used to determine the similarity between the shaft orbits to be identified and standard feature vector, and then classify.
