摘要

In this paper we present the first calculations for the conceptual design of an unmanned power airship for solar power generation and delivery. Our approach is to optimize the cost effectiveness range of the project with design variables involving structures, aerodynamics and trajectory. We consider an untethered airship of semi-spheroidal form which delivers the generated power by thin-layered photovoltaic cells, advanced thermoelectric generators, or other light weight solar power generation system, preferably by means of wireless power transmission.
