Design and performance of “bumpless” and “bumpless-smooth” discrete-time control systems

The design of both “bumpless” and “bumpless smooth” type real-time, discrete-time control signals is demonstrated, and the closed-loop response of a system using such novel d iscrete-time control inputs is illustrated.
