In a company that provides software as a service, documentation needs must be met quickly and effectively. In order to meet those needs, ExactTarget uses a wiki-based documentation system to provide information to its customers. The wiki-based solution allows ExactTarget to both improve the documentation available to its customers and allow contributions from all areas and knowledge bases within the company. This presentation examines the previous state of the documentation effort within the company, the specifics of the wiki solution implemented, the expectations of the solution, the initial results of the implementation, and the continuing goals and challenges of the wiki-based documentation system.
