The Statistic Property of the Estimated Process Yield Index STpk

This paper considers an asymptotic distribution for an estimate STpk of the process yield index STpk proposed by Chen etc (2003).The asymptotic distribution of estimated statistic is useful in statistical inferences. Under certain terms, it is proved that the asymptotic distribution of STpk is normal distribution. An illustrative example is given for hypothesis testing and for interval estimation on the process yield index STpk.
