摘要

This paper considers the problem of propellantoptimal trajectory design of a Reusable Booster Vehicle for the transition and reentry phases of flight. The coupled relationship between the different portions of the trajectory has been studied and a direct/indirect hybrid optimization approach has been developed. The conventional shooting method with trust region method for indirect optimization and genetic algorithm with sequential quadratic programming method for direct optimization have shown reliable convergence ability.
