Educating More T-Type Talent to Boost Service-Oriented Manufacturing in China

摘要

This paper is trying to analyse the development trend of service-oriented manufacturing in China. To meet the needs of this transformation of manufacturing companies, it is inevitable for educational sectors to train more service-oriented talents, that is T-type talent. The paper first discusses the relationship between this new trend and T-type talent, which is very strong and tight. Then the paper moves to formulate the mechanism or role for education to play in training personnel wanted by the trend. Finally, after exposing some weakness in Chinese education system, the paper reaches conclusions on how to reform it.
