SHIELDING OF ENGINE NOISE BY AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE

摘要

The shielding of noise by aircraft structure is related to the installation effects which account for the differences in received noise between an isolated engine on a test stand and the same engine installed in a current aircraft. The shielding effects can be used to reduce noise signature of novel aircraft configurations. The noise shielding is considered both for forward and aft engine noise.
