Noise shield for stationary jet aircraft - uses shroud of triangular panels covers rear end of aircraft to reduce ambient noise

A noise shielding system is for use with stationary jet engine aircraft that is capable of use with a wide range of aircraft types. For aircraft with wing mounted engines, two triangular panel sections are inclined symmetrically to each other and are joined along one edge. Additional panel sections join the leading edge of each main panel section. The complete assembly may be free standing on the ground or else fixed to a base section. An aperture at the rear end provides a passage for exhaust gases. Providing that the aircraft is located at a specified distance into the shroud the ambient noise level is considerably attenuated.
