摘要

To improve the efficiency of land use at urban area, construction of pipe-section steel piers, which have relatively small section, were considered. However, steel piers of these section caused to decrease seismic performance or load carrying capacity of piers. So, application of longitudinal stiffeners is considered to increase seismic performance of pipe-section steel piers under cyclic loading. However, effects of longitudinal stiffeners in pipe-section steel pier were not yet enough understood. In this paper, the clarify effects of longitudinal stiffeners in pipe-section steel pier under cyclic loading. On the other hand, to do accurate seismic analysis of steel piers, a constitutive equation considered characteristics of steel material under cyclic loading was generalized on the multi-axial state. And elastic-plastic analysis using proposed constitutive equation was carried out and investigated to seismic performance (displacement ductility, load carrying capacity, etc) of pipe-section steel piers
