摘要

The structures of many parts of car chassis are so complicated that their three-dimensional models can't be built easily. To improve the speed of modeling,the different parts of car chassis can be classified into four categories: box sort,shaft sort,rod sort and panel son. The general modeling methods such as extruding,revolving and sweeping are discussed briefly;then,the advanced modeling methods for example match modeling are put forwards to solve the difficulties met in the modeling of the complex parts. To enhance the modeling efficiency and shorten the development cycle of new products,the parametric design methods of chassis components are dissertated particularly. This research has great reference value to the rapid redesigning of the parts of car and the development of three-dimensional model database of chassis components of car.
