PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily study the sizes of the radii (R) of curvature and chamfer quantity (C) of ridgelines at the time of planning and designing work by providing the top of a main body of an approximately rectangular parallelepiped with plural ridgelines and vertexes worked into curved surfaces respectively with prescribed radii and marking the points near these ridgelines with the numerical values and symbols indicating their characteristics. ;SOLUTION: The ridgelines of the main body 2 of approximately a cube or the rectangular parallelepiped are respectively worked with values of prescribed R. The values of R at these ridgeline are marked near the ridgelines to be made easily identifiable by an operator. For example, the value of R of the ridgeline 3 is identifiable as 4.5mm at a glance from the value of the mark 4 indicated near the approximate center of the ridgeline 3. The mark 'R4.5', if any, indicates that ridgeline is the curved surface of 4.5mm in radius for easier use. The mark 4 is composed by printing, coating, stamping, sealing, etc. The operator is able to determine the size of the optimum R in the desired planning and designing by observing the ridgelines from a free angle by holding the model 1 with his hand.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
