PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder material for stereo molding capable of manufacturing a stereo molded article high in safety and having strength enough to maintain a complex stereo (three-dimensional (3D)) shape with high accuracy.SOLUTION: There is provided a powder material for stereo molding containing coated particles by coating substrate particles with a resin which has absorption peaks at 1143±2 cmand 1091±2 cmin an infrared absorption spectrum and an absorption strength ratio indicated by 1143±2 cm/1091±2 cmof 0.40 to 0.70.SELECTED DRAWING: None
