Study on ATCOs' 'errors, oblivion and oversight' Radar Simulator Training based on human factors engineering

摘要

Objective study the basic form and mechanism of "errors, oblivion, and oversight" in ATM to improve the ATCO's ability to identify them, establish and maintain a high situational awareness. Method firstly trainees were trained one-day by some aviation human factors experts about human factors theories in ATM, and then the experts analyze performance of the trainees about the "errors, oblivion, and oversight" problems during specific tasks. Results the trainees are lack of awareness and ability of threats during specific situation. Conclusion (1) Through training, the ATCOs can establish a good situational awareness and awareness of threat and errors identification, and further strengthen their communication skills. (2) The training model for ATCO using LOFT for reference is a good paradigm of human factors training for ATCOs and is worthy for further promotion. (3) The ATCOs can discover their own shortcomings and can also gain experiences, and the effects are obvious.
