The process of multi-wedge cross wedge rolling precision forming is an advanced technology forming long shaft parts, and its application is restricted because there are internal defects in the rolling process. The stress and strain of the feature points have been studied during multiwedge rolling process by three-dimensional modeling and finite element simulation method and the stress and strain varying rule were acquired. The result reveals the deformation mechanism of rolled pieces in the rolling process and provides a theoretical basis for reducing voids and cracks of rolled pieces as well as quality defects of the transition section interface.
