A queueing system of two queues, Q_a and Qb, is considered. The service time distributions of both servers are exponential. Two types of customers arrive at Q_a in Poisson processes. Type 1 customers observe only Q_a at arrivals, and determine whether to move to Qb by a threshold policy. For type 2 customers, two cases are considered. In the rst case, type 2 customers observe only Q_a and adopt the threshold policy with di erent threshold from that adopted by type 1 customers. In the second case, type 2 customers can also observe Q_b and choose the queue with the less expected cost.
