China is the bigest footwear producer and exporter in the world, however, the computer-aided design not widespread use in the shoe industry, most footwear enterprise still rely on artificial operation to complete the design works. Based on the characteristics of shoes industry and footwear design software, and the status quo of the market environment, this paper will try to find out the direction of footwear computer-aided design software development, especially in china.
