Rotor position estimation with high-frequency-signal injection method is based on the assumption that the stator winding magnetic field has a sinusoidal spatial distribution.But in fact the magnetic field is not a perfect sine wave because of the effects of saliencies.So the negative-sequence components of carrier-signal current are far more complex than theoretical assumption,which could bring some error to the rotor position estimation.This paper discussed this issue from both theory and experiment,and primitively demonstrated the effects of the magnetic field distortion and proposed some measures to solve it.
