The technological measures to be taken for improving the quality of the powder materials micro-pelletizing process are based on knowing the process operation mechanisms. In the present paper, we assume the existence of two such mechanisms: the micro-pelletizing, determined by the first order centres of micro-pellets germination; the micro-pelletizing based on the second order centres of micro-pellets germination. To explain the influence of the raw materials granulometric structure on micro-pelletizing, we define two new parameters: the N1 ratio and the N2 ratio. Hereunder, we present the experiments results regarding the importance of these parameters, along with technological recommendations based on the ratios N1 and N2.
