The Use of Information Technology to Improve the Ability of Flexible Supply Chain

摘要

This paper firstly describes the current situation of flexible supply chain and build a measure model based on significance of the impact of the use of flexible supply chain factors. Then, this paper points out the main reasons for the loss of flexibility of supply chain. The rational use of information technology can optimize the supply chain management and improve the impact of unfavorable factors of supply chain flexibility to. In this paper, the use of VIM to reduce supply chain costs and improve customer service levels; weaken the use of CPFR "bullwhip effect"; as well as through the APS and RFID to improve supply chain flexibility.
