This article gives an overall description of a series of complete surveying process, including program preparation, accuracy analysis, surveying control, cantilever joining dynamic surveying for overhead cantilever structure construction of complicated high-rise building. Precise GPS surveying, automatic measuring robot and other new technologies and methods have been applied during the construction to provide technical support and assurance in surveying for precise positioning and smooth joining of cantilever structure members.
