For protecting entrances from wind and rain, the porch is designed for fitting to a house wall above the outside door. The whole unit is divided into support elements which are attachable and connectable to the wall, and the roof elements themselves (11), detachably connected to these. The former can be cantilever arms (15), while the latter have holding members for retention on the arms, in the form of battens, rails or similar. This is easily made and fitted, and variable according to preferences on site.
