Structure Design of Pingshan Basketball Gymnasium for Universiade 2011 Shenzhen

摘要

The suspend-dome structure is designed for the roof of Shenzhen pingshan basketball gymnasium for Universiade 2011, the overlapping diameter of which is 72m, along with the RC frame-shear wall system as base structure. The introduction of the structure features, behaviors & design optimization is presented in this paper, which includes; the whole suspend-dome behavior & overall stability ( buckling) analysis, the construction simulation analysis, the isolated & assembled modeling analysis for the base RC structure & the roof steel structure, the temperature effects analysis, the finite element analysis of key joints. The following summaries are indicated:① the suspend-dome system could effectively stiffen the roof structure, & also benefit the overall stability of a singe-layer reticulated dome greatly; ②the assembled modeling analysis would be essential for long-span space structure; ③the temperature variation & shrinkage effects on ultra-long RC structure should be noticed, the related construction simulated calculation should be necessary; ④the key joint of space structure should be designed precisely.
