Folate Conjugated Poly(ester amine) for Lung Cancer Therapy

Biodegradable, branched poly(ester amine)s (PEAs) were synthesized using hydrophobic polycaprolactone(PCL) diacrylate and highly cationic polyethylenimine(PEI) to improve gene delivery efficiency and to reduce their cytotoxicity, based on low molecular weight PEI and biodegradable polycaprolactone. In continuation with that, we coupled folic acid moiety to PEAs with PEG as a linker for receptor mediated endocytosis for lung cancer therapy.
