Curing procedures for matrix tablets with EUDRAGIT~R RS 30 D

摘要

The effect of different curing methods for EUDRAGIT~R RS 30 D matrix sustained release tablets formulated with and without a plasticizer were studied. The differences of the release profiles indicate that there is a curing effect in case of RS 30 D matrix tablets using the described formulation without a plasticizer, while the formulation containing a plasticizer doesn't show any effect of curing. The relaxation process of the polymer seams to be finalized after the standard final drying when the plasticizer is included in the formulation. In case of no plasticizer added the polymer needs additional curing to finalize this process.
