摘要

This paper reports a wind power generation system using the Darrieus turbine for tidal currents. To confirm the characteristics of the proposed turbine for different fluid densities, the authors investigated the influence of the number of turbine blades and the blade setting angle by wind tunnel tests. Based on the test results, we experimentally fabricated a wind power generation system for an independent power source. The system was installed at a coastal area. The testing is still being conducted.
