PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade capable of attaining a large lift force even in a low wind speed range while restricting air resistance of the blade when a wind turbine is rotated.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a wind power generation vertical shaft type wind turbine blade having an inside segment becoming a rotating shaft side and an outside segment becoming an opposite side against the rotating shaft side when it is arranged to extend in parallel with the wind turbine rotating shaft, this blade has a blade section of droplet-shape, the blade section has a front edge part and a rear edge part, the blade section has at least one salient at each of the inside and the outside, has a concave contour line ranging from the salient to the rear edge. A tangential line is present ranging from the rear edge part to the inside salient. This blade section shape has a relation satisfying AB0.25A and BC0.03B when the blade section is divided along a chord line, where A is an area of an outside region, B is an area of an inside region and C is an area of a region enclosed by a tangential line extending from the rear edge part toward the inside salient and an inside contour line of the blade section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
