Word Sense Disambiguation using Extended Relevant Domains Resource

摘要

This paper presents an improvement of a previous method for Word Sense Disambiguation based of the WordNet Domains lexical resource. Previous work demonstrated that establishing word senses using the information provided by WordNet Domains give good results. But this first approach only took into account the information provided by WordNet glosses. In this work, we improve the results of the previous WSD method by adding new information extracted from Extended WordNet. We detail the characteristics of this new resource and how extract the new information in order to obtain a better resource. This new method is evaluated with the Senseval-2 data set.
