Land capability assessment and conflict resolution in the 'Cuenca de Burgos' region as a tool for ecological planning.

摘要

The process of ecological planning in the Mexican legal regulations require the definition of the land Capability models to define the natural use of the land. This paper presents the development of these models for the "Cuenca de Burgos" region in northeastern Mexico, and the conflict analysis carried out to define the sustainable land use policies in the region.
