In order to set up the dynamics model of the transplanting mechanism with ellipse-circleplanetary gears of high-speed rice transplanter, the effect of seedling-pushing device on themechanism must be analyzed. In this paper, the dynamics characteristics of seedling-pushing devicewere analyzed by method that was derived by us. The method is analytical form differential equationsof rigid compound motion. As a result, dynamics model of seedling-pushing device was deduced. Byprogramming calculation, some conclusions were drawn: ①the relationship between the angle ofgears trunk and the angle of shiifter and the position of seedling-pushing rod in the course ofseedling-pushing and collision, ②the relationship between the angle of gears trunk and the bearingforce of spring、shiifter shaft and seedling-pushing rod in the course of seedling-pushing and collision.The first relationship was tested and proved by high-speed video camera, which can prove thesecond relationship indirectly. These conclusions were the bases to analyze this kind transplantingmechanism.
