Today’s white-collar employee can expect to work five different careers and 12 different jobs until the time he or she retires. The days of someone working for Bethlehem Steel or any other major corporation for 35 years is almost nonexistent. Employment history of hourly employees, skilled or semi skilled is even more turbulent. There are places where employees will walk across the street for 10 cents more.
