Over the past five years, the Beijing municipal government provided a lot of financial support for the programs related to the E-GOV Action plan, and will continue to offer help. But other than the money problem, the most important and difficult part involving the implementation of the action plan is the mindset change that is a requirement for all the citizens. Beijing will go ahead with its efforts to carry out E-GOV and hope to play a leading role in this particular field, providing more and better services for the industries and the citizens in the information era. There is still a long way to go.
