INGMEDIA: COLLABORATIVE EIEARNING CONCEPTS FOR UNIVERSITY LEVEL ONLINE LABORATORY COURSES N ENGINEERING

By collaboration among universities the INGMEDIA project aims at a significant evolution of engineering lab-courses by using web technologies. Guided by constructivist and student-oriented didactical concepts and supported by continuing evaluation ar d based on a unifying technical framework, collaborative course development and evaluation are being piloted in three areas: basic physics and electrical engineering labs, online telematics labs in microelectronics, and simulation units for semiconductor technology training. To sustain, broaden and multiply the project results, public and private partnerships in education and professional training will be needed in the future.
