摘要

This paper focuses on several non-conventional methods for analyzing heart rate variability (HRV) data. The methods discussed in the paper are based on historical approaches as well as the modern approaches. Historical approaches include the Time domain analysis and Frequency domain analysis of HRV data. The modern approaches include the method of Statistical Complexity measure of the HRV data, estimation of the Dynamical noise from the given HRV data, Complexity analysis of the HRV data to find the regularity and variability of the given time series, Approximate entropy measure of the given HRV data, Correlation dimension measurement of the given HRV data, Lyapunov exponent calculation of the given HRV data and Prediction of the given HRV data. In this paper we examine and compare these approaches used for analyzing HRV.
