SAFETY AND COMFORT DRIVER SUPPORTFUNCTIONS IN TRIP MATE CONCEPT CAR

The paper describes the main concepts behind integration of safety and comfort advanceddriver support functions developed in the Trip Mate Concept Car, realised in two vehicles: theConcept Car and the demonstrator vehicle. Trip Mate demonstrator vehicles will be shown atthe Intelligent Vehicle Showcase and in the Conference Exhibition.Here a description of the approach followed in the development and integration of driverassistance functions is summarised. Other aspects of the same Concept vehicle are describedin parallel papers.
