摘要

The applications of MIMD parallel computer used to solve an open boundary 3-D electrostatic problem based on charge simulation method is described. The parallel computation is exploited both in the stages of forming the matrix equation and of solfing the overdetermined linear equations. The speedup for solving the field distribution of a conductor lightning eliminator (CLE) is obvious. The algorithm is easy to be extended to the different number of parallelism.
