Local measurements of the Kuwaiti climate parameters during the last four years (until January first, year 2000) were done. The current-voltage measurements of the two different types of photovoltaic cells, and its efficiency calculations were given, during the same period of time. There is a relation between the intensity rate of global radiation and the efficiency variations of the used solar cells. The results confirms that the effects due to daily, seasonal and annual variations of climate parameters have the same effects of the solar cell efficiencies. The calculated efficiencies during the year 1999 are shown lower, compared with the other part of the period. The efficiency studies show that the Poly-crystalline cell is more convenient at Kuwaiti atmosphere.
