An approach to automate a visual inspection process of wire harness manufacturing via digital image processing

The handling process for wire harness manufacturing and the diffculties of automating its assembly process require a qualified person for inspection. This study tries to show the viability of maintaining higher quality with a reduction in cost, by applying vision systems to automate the wire harness visual inspection process.
