摘要

Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) is one of the most sensitive detection methods for changes of thickness and refractive index in ultra-thin films. In this paper we developed a SPR imaging system in order to characterize organic monolayers, a basic commodity to develop biochemical sensors arrays. SPR image contrast could be enhanced by chemical modifications of the patterned monolayers. The lateral resolution achieved by our SPR imaging device with HeNe laser source and in Kretschmann configuration is about 4 μm.
