Impulse equms: a historical and critical review

摘要

This paper presents a historical and critical review of recorded EQ ground motions (EQGMs) that contain severe acceleration pulses and the effects of these motions on the performance of buildings in order to identify the major issues and directions for their solution. Results of some previous studies are summarized.
