Calculation of masonry interfenestrations of buildings under theaction of horizontal seismic loads

Experiment is an essential part of strength and stability analysis of buildings andstructures. But on conducting experiments one has to face considerable problems in connectionwith the use of a great number of measuring devices, wide spread of stress values in some areas,processing of a body of information, etc. All the above necessitates carrying out of theoreticalstudy regarding behavior of constructions under the action of various loads, which makes the objectof the present paper.
