Reengineering training to be competitive in a deregulated power industry: a viewpoint from the public private sectors

Changes in equipment, facilities, programs and curricula were brought about at Henry Ford Community College as a direct result of partnerships in the heat and power industry. In the fast moving industrial workplace, employers have specific needs and special personnel requirements. Indeed, elimination of unnecessary positions and enhancement of remaining personnel has been the norm for a productive high performance industrial workplace.
